When TaylorMade introduced the original Rescue Mid Hybrid club back in 2003 it changed the game of golf forever and effectively killed off the traditional long iron as we know it! The TaylorMade 2009 Rescue uses ultra modern technology combined with a more traditional appearance, inspired by the original Rescue Mid Hybrid club.

Many advantages should be found in TaylorMade 2009 Rescue: compact, versatile and easy-to-hit. The new, compact head shape is more versatile and confidence inspiring while boasting exceptionally log CG (center of gravity) for easier and higher ball launch. A new, low-friction sole design reduces turf drag and increases playability and Aldila RE*AX 65-gram shaft promotes a higher launch angle, greater distance, enhanced accuracy and improved feel.
