It is released on 15, Feb 2011. Adding Forged Composite to the crown of new Callaway RAZR Hawk Fairway Wood allows for a Center of Gravity placement that maximizes distance without compromising ball flight or feel. Callaway has delivered the first uncompromised fairway woods.
The woods are made using Forged Composite technology, the result of a unique partnership between the R&D teams of Callaway and supercar maker Lamborghini. The revolutionary new material--used in the crown of the clubs--is one-third the density of titanium, yet features a greater load carrying capacity per unit mass in bending. This allows engineers to precisely control the thickness like never before, resulting in a clubhead that's lighter and stronger than every other club on the market. The configuration also redistributes weight beautifully, generating a precise center of gravity that maximizes distance, ball flight, and feel. With the Razr Hawk fairway woods, there are no tradeoffs.
